Held at Feast & Merriment, the Hilmy Wine Dinner was an amazing time. The view is beautiful as you can see in the first picture. Hilmy’s winemaker, Mark, spoke about each wine and came around to every table. I enjoyed picking his brain while my partner in wine just grinned at the couple sitting with us. They are wine club members and came in from Marble Falls. They ended up being the only other couple at our table and we had a lovely time discussing music, physics, travel and, of course, the food and wine. The menu is below the pictures. I didn’t actually get to taste the appetizer, but the Sparkling Orange Muscat was delightful. I enjoyed everything but the Lamb Puttanesca. You can rent Feast & Merriment (website) for events and I know several other wineries will be hosting wine dinners at the venue. I’m glad I got to attend the Hilmy one. (Hilmy website)
