Jason (Red Barn Winery & Tasting Room) kicked off my white flight with this one.
This is a very sweet, lightly bubbly Moscato, much like your freshman dorm mate. Good in small doses, but probably not in large (despite the low alcohol content.)
What’s cool about the version Jason served me, is that it’s from their hand painted bottle collection. You can read more about that here or here. It’s officially from the Ancient Etruscan Collection.
Final Thoughts
For a grocery store/porch pounder it was actually really good. Not something I’d want everyday, but definitely good for a bridal shower or ladies who lunch luncheon. The bottle is fancy enough to impress, but won’t break the bank. But if you know that Sharon from ladies who lunch will check the price of the bottle while at the table (I know, how tacky!), you might want to consider something else.
